Work is continuing on Heath Ledger Theatre and the walls to the drum of the theatre are now complete.

Steel work on the fly tower has commenced and the final concrete pour for the fly tower walls will occur by the end of the month.

Construction on the resident company accommodation on William Street continues with work on the roofing and gallery walkway. The John Holland site office will soon relocate into this area to allow the Chester Building to be vacated for restoration work.

The site will soon be running off its own power once the installation of a sub-station and transformer room is completed. Further electrical and mechanical fit-out continues.

The Department is finalising the technical theatre specifications for the tender of lighting and sound equipment.
