Advisory Pool
To encourage sector involvement in the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia, the Department of Culture and the Arts established an Advisory Pool.
The Advisory Pool members reflect a wide representation of expertise to meet the varying interests associated with the project, including one nominated representative from each of the theatre organisations: Black Swan State Theatre Company, Perth Theatre Company, Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, deckchair theatre, Performing Arts Society, and Yirra Yaakin.
The State Theatre Centre Advisory Pool was appointed in February 2006 and met as required in specialist focus groups. These focus groups provided feedback on issues relating to the Centre’s management operations and programming to help inform the Department’s decision-making processes.
