Brand strategists Block Branding have developed a brand identity that celebrates the iconic architecture of the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia.
The identity draws on the theme of light that is not only an integral element in the Centre’s design but in theatre as an artform.
The icon is symbolic of the design of the Centre with the Studio Underground, Heath Ledger Theatre and the fly-tower stacked on-top of each other to maximize the space of the theatres.
“We sought to create an identity for the Centre that is befitting the quality of the architecture and of the performances,” said Block’s Creative Director Mark Braddock.
“We wanted something classic and confident that instills a sense of anticipation in audiences.”
The brand will become a symbol of recognition for the Centre and will be applied to all material that is used to promote the State Theatre Centre.
